57 plate 308 1.5 petrol depolution system faulty.

just had the engine managment light came up, the display is saying depolution system faulty, has anybody came across this fault before and can point me in the right direction

Get a diagnostic check done. De pollution system faulty is a generic warning for any electronic problem with the engine. It could be anything.
