Default 308 S Hatchback Automatic

Posted this yesterday but for some reason didn't appear.

Picked up a 1-year old 308 S Hatchback Automatic of Friday. I've got the manual and am trawling through it but since it's generic I know much of the stuff will not apply to my car. I have a couple of specific queries and wonder if anyone here may have the answers, so here goes.

Automatic folding door mirrors:
I'm assuming my model doesn't have these but since I do have mirrors which can be adjusted electronically I want to know if they can be safely folded manually without risking damage to the electrics.

Automatic tilting of mirrors when reversing:
Should my model have this facility? I did follow the manual instructions yesterday to set this up but it was unsuccesful

Does the adjuster for the mirrors have another arrow facing backwards in the middle of it?
Don't know the UK spec, but the S trim in Ireland is fairly basic.

My SE has auto folding mirrors, I don't think it's on the S model.
I wouldn't have thought folding them manually would be a problem.

No, no backwards-facing arrow but reading through the manual, such an arrow is not referred-to to accomplish the procedure. Anyone with a UK model who knows?

Can you tell me where i'll find the chassis number?

I think when you were referring to a backwards arrow that was to show auto-folding mirrors which i'm pretty sure I don't have. What i need to find out about is the reverse tilting mirrors as i followed what the manual told me to do but it didn't work.

It's an S - the mirrors can be indeed manually folded, but they can not be programmed to dip when reverse is selected. Simples!
