Slow Heavy / Throttle Response

Hi All
Just got a 307 2.0 hdi 110 and find the throttle heavy and slow responding ,
the pedal seems to move a fair way down before revs rise , hopefully something simple but any help much appreciated

Aren't these electric throttles?

Can't remember what year they changed from the old cables to electric sensors instead. With the new electric ones, there is practically no resistance at all

What year is yours?
