Hi there,
the clutch on my 2008 307 1.6 hdi (110bhp) has started slipping under high torque, so I guess a replacement is what is needed. (110k miles, so not too bad) I know that I need part number 2051Z7 for the replacement clutch set. Can anyone with access to the right sources or the required knowledge tell me if this part is interchangeable with part number 2051T7, that is a T instead of a Z. It's a clutch set for the 407 1.6 hdi (110bhp), so I thought same engine, same part... Many thanks, JDS Last edited by JDS; 01-06-2012 at 10:41 PM. |

But surely if they were the same part, they would have the same part no.?

Not necessarily, I have often found that manufacturers use separate part numbering for different models. It might also be possible that the two parts have minor differences which sometimes can just be ignored, i.e. they are interchangeable for all practical purposes.
