Hi all , thank you all for helping me out lately !!
but i have just 1 more question ! some people have told me you cannot just buy the chip for the key fob and get it programmed in you have to buy the whole fob new !!! £46+vat in pug ! is this true ???? any ideas ????

I may be wrong but.....No...as far as i know as long as you buy the right transponder chip RAW (not previously programmed) it should be ok....again im no expert and may be wrong.....

you can buy seperate transponders but not the type that are on the remote pcb, so if your just after a key to start the car this is your cheapest option, you can fit a key blade into a bit of wood as long as the transponder is there car will start

You already have a thread about key programming, in which i even provided a link to an ebay sale for a blank transponder chip I'm locking this thread now, please refer to programming key help urgent please !!! Cheers Rich
