Hi all, first post.
I had my car remapped by P Torque today, Will had previously remapped my 335i hence why I chose P Torque to map the 307. It took about 90 minutes in total and cost 299 inclusive of VAT. First impressions are that the car has a lot more power and obviously torque, the most impressive feature now is the acceleration and pull in the top 3 gears. It is a pleasure to drive. As for MPG, I had always wondered how you could increase power and also increase MPG. Whilst averaging over 60 miles per hour on the Drive home the car averaged 53MPG, this is astounding as previously the best MPG I had obtained was 55 MPG on a leisurely drive to Brize Norton via Cheltenham. The stats, was previously 90 BHP, this has been increased by 29 BHP and the torque by 48lbft. Any questions just ask away. Regards Vegnomeat |

Sounds good but I'm always wary of a new forum member posting what could be seen as just an advert for a company.

I do understand your concerns regarding a new member. I have been a bit of a lurker here recently gathering information regarding re-mapping.
However, if you know anything about P Torque you would know that Will wouldn't stoop to anything as low as advertising his own wares under an assumed name I have emailed P Torque this morning asking for the Dyno sheets and as soon as they arrive I will upload them here. Regards Veggie |

Fu ck me what a bunch of charming cu nts on this site.
A poster who hasn't the grace or good manners to include a please or any byline. A poster who doubts the origins of the post and also an obnoxious cu nt who is more concerned with my insurance details and the legality of the re-mapping than the car itself. Please invite me to your Christmas get together, it must be a bundle of fun. Regards Veggie |

Wow, I bet that remapped 335i pulled REALLY hard!?
It must be weird 'down-powering' - I think I'd struggle to do it. Getting used to having a certain power under your right foot, and then having it significantly reduced. Still, those are pretty good gains from your 1.6hdi! I got the same gains from mine. Totally agree with the economy - I didn't expect mine to go up, despite the advertising that it would. To be honest, it's stayed pretty much the same, but that does include some more enthusiastic driving. Would be interested to see your RR printouts. |

Adam, thanks for your post.
The Peugeot is the SW version and I use it for lugging the family around and commuting to Brize Norton where I am a mover in the RAF My day car is a 2008 Jaguar XKR so I don't really miss the power although at 18 MPG I won't use it for commuting. This is a link for the Dyno sheet for the 335i after Will had re-mapped it. http://littracing.homestead.com/img008.jpg The Peugeot has 46,000 miles and has been serviced faithfully by the main dealer since new. It's a great great car and being the SE version has the extra toys we all enjoy. Regards Veggie |
