Unhappy New Clutch Req'd

My Peugeot 307 1.6 req's a Clutch . So close to Crimbo aswell. The Clutch Release Bearing is Squeeling its you know what off. What type of job is this and whats the Rough price on getting it done ???????

i had a 1.6 petrol 307. when this happened to me it cost around £130 for the clutch kit of eurocarparts and a further £120 for fitting. so around £250.

stay away from mr. clutch centres for this, they rip you right off! find yourself a decent garage for this, to save money ie shop around and play them off each other.

i have the 307 1.6HDI 110 BHP , peugeot wanted over 1000 to do the jub including the duelmass flywheel .


I got the job done for £350 at my local garage( and made sure they replaced the duel mass flywheel)

114.000 miles.. I got the Clutch kit from Dealer £70.(joys of working in motor Trade)Cheers fella's. Been Quoted £120 - £150 to fit it

114k is a bit early for your clutch isnt it?

Cause roughly they can stay 120k-130k but that depends on how you drive.
I got 97k on my 307 but still pulling like a train, no slips at all.

A lot go sooner than this.... 114k isn't bad at all in my book
