gearbox leaking

Have a gearbox leak in my 307 (51 plate) told will need a gearbox, can anyone suggest where i can get a second hand one with a gurantee or reconditoned one please. Also can the gearbox oil be topped up in the mean time so it does not dry out and cause more issues

Why a replacement? is it cracked?, would have thought a leak was due to a seal. Yes it could be topped up depends how bad the leak is, gear box oil isn't cheap. I would get a second opinion.

Gearbox is maing a noise some teeth damaged, garage says would need replaced as not worth repairing any suggestions?

Mmm try peugeot spares or french spares on google. There are several people on there breaking peugeots that will send the parts to you.
