Faulty Headlamp Levelling Switch?

So the headlamp level adusting switch does nothing. I disconnected it & dismantled it, made sure contacts were in the right place then put it back in. On connecting the lamps raised up then nothing more whatever position the switch was in. Is it simply the switch or will it be some compilcated ecu problem?

I would check the mech on the actual headlamp first....

Well I broke the switch casing trying to dismantle it so had to tape it back together- but hey, the headlamps go up & down now!
