HI,
I remapped a few weeks ago for dpf removal and been running around a little with the dpf still in the exhaust. The car was running very poorly until one day I gave it some boot and took it up to almost red line. The EML light came on and I thought I had gone into limp home mode again but no.. later the EML light went off and it was running much better. So recently I removed the exhaust and took it for a spin, sounds great and goes pretty quick. I have removed the dpf , but kept the cat, and rewelded the box and replaced. Car is running great now and finally completed the dpf removal in both remap and actual dpf removed form exhaust.
Next I plan to do the aux belt and idler/ tensioner pulleys as I am getting a ratttle that I think may be a pulley and also the belt looks like it could do with replacement.
