Hi just trying to fix my climate control air conditioning blower motor as sometimes it works, but blows at all different speeds without altering the + or -.
I got blower motor out of car but can not find the resistor anywhere. Have looked at other threads on this site but can't find it in the locations mentioned. Not sure if this helps at all. My motor has 2 connections, could it be that the resistor is on the motor? If someone has any idea of my issue please help me out as I've been stuck for 2 days so far. ![]() ![]() ![]() Please help. Update: Giving up on this one. i now it must have the resistor somewhere? Well it's all going back together now. Am i the only one who can not find the resistor? Could someone tell me how to end a thread so i can close this one Last edited by rogerde; 12-28-2011 at 01:09 PM. Reason: update |

Giving up on this as can't find resistor anywhere.
Could someone tell me how to close a thread. Edit: Fixed problem. The resistor is on the motor, just behind the fan blade. Sparky at work tested and said it was faulty. New 1 around 55 Pound on ebay so got a second hand motor for 35 from a 206 gti, same motor. Works as it sould. END. Last edited by rogerde; 01-17-2012 at 07:23 PM. Reason: edit. |
