hi all !!
i got a question would a type 027 start my 307 2.0l diesel that was fitted to my car when i got it !??? so yesterday i phoned peugeot up and to my surprise they had a deal on batteries £44.38 for a type 097 with 3 yrs warranty !! so im just wondering would the battery in the car 027 could be why it was struggling to start up properly !! ?? ![]() thanks in advance !! |

I thought the battery for a 307 2.0hdi was a 096. Dunno what the difference between a 096 and a 097 is, but a battery for 44 quid is cheap.

027 is 56ah, and 097 is 67ah so will technically be better

That's pretty good for Peugeot. I bought an Exide one from Euro just before Xmas for about £48 with their winter discount code.

Yes Johnboy get a 96/7 asap you cant beat some extra amps with a diesel. Hows your alternator output?
