Default Anti-pollution fault and ESP/ASR not functioning

Hi

I have got 52 plate Peugeot 307 SW 110 BHP. The car runs very slow and it takes too much time in pickup like turbo is not working at all specially on uphills and it like engine is running under load . I have filled the additive tank and replace DFP and reset the counter using Peugeot Planet.

The still have same problems and after running around 60mph it shows the ESP/ASR not functioning and then rpm is not going above 2600. I plug in peugeot planet and the it shows the following errors:

ABS/ESP ECU:

Permanent fault. Communication with the engine management ECU fault. Incorrect value received.

Engine ECU:

Permanent fault. Turbo pressure . Turbo pressure
measured too low.
ECU fault code : P0246
engine speed : 2474 rpm
actual delivery : 33 mm3/stroke
turbo pressure : 1247 mbars
turbo pressure reference value : 1812 mbars
EGR solenoid valve OCR : 88 %

Intermittent fault. Catalytic converter
downstream temperature signal. Short-circuit to
positive or circuit open.
ECU fault code : P1425
engine speed : 2474 rpm
air temperature : 12 deg. C
Request for regeneration of the particle filter : Inactive
catalytic converter downstream temperature : 36 deg. C
catalytic converter upstream temperature : 175 deg. C

Intermittent fault. Particle filter . Particulate
emission filter overloaded.
ECU fault code : P1448
air flow volume : 120000 m3/h
Distance travelled since last regeneration : 144 km
average mileage for 5 last regeneration manoeuvres : 252 km
PEF inlet/outlet pressure difference : 141 mbars
total quantity of additive : 1 grammes

Please help me in sorting out these errors.

Clear the faults and run it again to see what comes back , turbo pressure seems down , maybe turbo solenoid valve faulty,
post new faults after running.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. I have cleared all faults and reset the additive system. But after running the car seems to have same pickup issue and then these faults come again.

Before clearing I have the following faults:

Permanent fault. Additive system . Fault: fuel additive accuracy.
Permanent fault. Additive quantity . Fuel additive ECU.
Permanent fault. Additive quantity . Fuel additive low level reached.
Intermittent fault. Turbo pressure . Turbo pressure measured too low.
Intermittent fault. Differential exhaust pressure signal . Coherence of the differential pressure when stopped.
Intermittent fault. Particle filter . Particulate emission filter overloaded.

anti pollution fault will have no effect on the running of the car.
as for it not revving above 2600 rpm, the car automatically goes into limp mode to get you home. disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then run the car...this should reset the ecu and keep the car out of limp mode.

post after you have tried mate.

looks like you didn`t reset anything , i would try the DPF counters again and tell the car in replacement parts its had a new filter , then clear codes run for a while and reread

I had the same problem with boost pressure, turned out to be the turbo electrovalve as betty says. I picked up one for £10 at the breakers and hey presto

there are 4 identical electrovalves on the front of your engine (between engine and radiator), the turbo control electrovalve is the very bottom one, slightly left of centre. They are very easy to change yourself.

Hi

After clearing all codes still no pickup, its driving like too heavy. I haven't got chance to drive on motorway. Then I did a force regeneration and during regeneration it shows antipolution fault and ESP/ASR not functioning.

The errors in engine ECU are as follows:

Intermittent fault. Air flowmeter signal. Air flow
too low coherence.
ECU fault code : P0101
engine speed : 4016 rpm
air flow setting : 729 mg/impulse
air temperature : 25 deg. C
intake air flow : 353 mg/impulse
turbo pressure : 1176 mbars

Permanent fault. Turbo pressure . Turbo pressure
measured too low.
ECU fault code : P0246
engine speed : 4016 rpm
actual delivery : 13 mm3/stroke
turbo pressure : 1200 mbars
turbo pressure reference value : 1459 mbars
EGR solenoid valve OCR : 88 %

Hi

I lift the car on the ramp and notice that one pipe is not connected to the Turbo valve. I connect the pipe and then the power of the car looks like comes back. I then cleared all codes again and tomorrow I will drive it on my job and then post the result back.

Thanks to all for your help.
