Hi,
I have small issue with my Peugeot 307. When car is started and on idle, all lights flashes. Flashing is very small, but it stops when I press gas pedal to give it higher rpm. I checked voltage on battery when car is started and it's constant 14v with all function on, like lights, heaters. So, charging looks fine. Any ideas what else could be causing this? Thanks. |

Sounds like the battery is on the way out.
Get a proper battery drop test done which will test the cranking voltage by use of a hand held meter which simulates the car cranking over. This will give you a definitive result of battery condition. What you are reading is what the alternator is supplying and not how the battery is performing.

Measurement was done by my uncle, I'm not good with this. We measured like this:
Car not running and voltage on battery shows 12,1V. Car running shows 14V. I'll see to do that test in some car battery shop. What about mass of the car? I read that could be the issue. Don't know if mass is proper translation from my language. I mean on negative polarity which goes to chassis and engine from battery. |

Ask for a Battery Drop Test
