Hi All
I have recently purchased a 136bhp 307 xsi, i have found that at about 1400-2000 revs the car seems to stop accelerating suddenly if the throttle is very lightly pressed. If you put your foot down it doesnt do it, this is my first turbo and first diesel just wondering if this is normal or not. I can take it back as i have a yrs warranty on it. Thanks in advance for any comments...cheers

i am interested in this as well- i just got a 1.6 (110) HDi about 2 weeks ago and i have noticed somethning similar. I have been trying to replicate the problem, and exactly like you say- it happens about 1500 revs.
This weekend i have noticed it doesnt always happen, just most of the time. I didnt know if i was just going in too high a gear, but i suspect it is something else. Any ideas are much appreciated. |

What sort of price is a new one? Any more information please |

A run does seem a good place to start. I did half an hour up the motorway and it has been fine for a week. It seems to be starting to happen again.
Im going for a 4 hour journey to visit family over xmas, that shouild shake the cobwebs off hopefully |

err yes and no, it seems to run ok now, but this last week i have twice got the old "Anti pollution fault" message.
Car drive fine and usually after a restart it dissapears, so i am not worrying too much about it just yet. |
