Ive got a 2002 307 hdi 110 and the anti pollution light is on and its went on to safe mode wont go any faster than 50 mph, Ive had a new engine fitted etc etc, will this need put on a diagnostic machine to check for faults? I know if i take to peugeot there going to charge a fortune, Any ideas on how to keep costs down???

i think i saw a post earlier ref this i think you can take the cat off the car and just give it a good clean try searching for it on the search bar

Read around on here, and you will find that the antipollution fault could be displayed for any one of 100 different faults - its just a generic fault for "something is wrong".
You are going to need to getting a diagnostic done. To keep costs down, check out the Peugeot Planet owner's map
