307 Fuel Gauge overreading.
Hi, I'm new to the forum so please bear with me.......help with fuel gauge problem needed please !
2005 307 1.6 petrol, Tiptronic, LHD. Filled up this morning [it took 50ltrs] and the fuel gauge went well past full to the speedo bezel [i.e.reading 1 1/2 tanks full], also date and time flashing on MFD.
Never seen this before, only thing I did differently was I let fuel run low with warning light on and around 60km left in the tank.
Turning engine off and restarting cleared gauge problem, resetting MFD stopped flashing but problems reappeared after a few minutes.
Can anyone help please?
