Default 307 Front Seat removal

Guys

I want to remove the carpet from the car to clean it properly. I have done this and power washed car carpets on many cars - come up great....

Anyway - I need to remove the front seats in my 2002 1.4HDi LX - are there any precautions when removing the seats other than the usual airbag precautions?

Thanks in advance

David

Personally to make sure i'd let the bsi go to sleep and disconnect the battery before unplugging anything

Then after refitting the seats and connectors, reconnect the battery and wake up the bsi in the proper manner

It only takes a small electrical charge to fir off the airbags/pretensioners!

edit: just noticed you said besides the airbag precautions, ignore me

Hi

I was considering removing the carpets to clean them properly, but when I saw the carpets were made of newspaper, I thought that the trip might be one that they would not make....

I ended up just giving them a serious VAX rather than the power wash that I have given many before!
