I have two peugeot 307s
Problems time - need some help on this one... 307 SW SXI 2.0 HDI 136 Bhp 2005 Upon a cold start the 307 is hard to start Once started it smokes white smoke until warm According to a diagnostic test - injector number 3 is overfuelling The injectors are (siemens type) they have been replaced with no success. When warm the car runs alittle rough - although when driven hard all is ok - loads of power - however slow low rev driving - the car jerks alittle bit We are currently awaiting compression test results to see if we have a bent con rod on cylinder 3, blown head gasket - or leaking valves. However, there does not appear to be any water or oil loss Any Help would be appriciated |

and found some refs to Turbo Repeat Sensor... causing juddering etc... Would this cause the smoking on a cold start also ??? I have tried to contact some of the guys who posted these message re the sensor... but because i am a newbie.. it wont let me... Any one with any info on this could save my relashionship (girlfriends car ! ) but more importantly the car !

Could a faulty MAF be the cause of the lumpy, smoky cold hard start ? not too sure about these diesels.
