Default 307 electric window switch problem

Hi the window switch on the drivers door that operates the passenger window does not work as it should
1:Window up press switch down window goes down
2:Window down pull switch up you can hear the window trying to move but does not come up
3:Use the switch on passenger side and the window goes up
4:Window up pull passenger switch up on drivers door window goes down

Has anyone had the same problem with the switch in both positions only operating the window from closed to open
Any help please

Thanks Martyn

Unhappy window switch

Hi,
Same problem on my 307cc . Passenger window only goes down with both push and pull on drivers switch. Passenger switch and main all close switch
will close the window.
Fault is the switch places different values of resistance (~500/150/50 ohm)
for no movement/down/up. This is read via a analogue to digital converter and the appropriate function engaged. If the 50 ohm ish bit is not realised then the
up command will become a down command hence the operation is the same whether switch is pushed or pulled.
I cleaned my switch contacts and it lasted about 1 month ok only.
Going to fit a new switch now , it's duff.

I stripped mine down a while back when a button broke, they worked much better after.

Stripped down the switch panel and cleaned with contact cleaner.
ie : the conductive plastic push buttons and the non-etch resist parts of the PCB.
Re-built and now all operations are fully functional.
Great.
