Default 307 2.0 Automatic Transmission Fluid change

Hi everyone


I m new to this forum & just recently bought a 2004 Peugeot 307 2.0ltr & the odometer is 80,500km,...just like to know if :-

1)what would be the recommended milleage to change the ATF?

2)Can i change the ATF manually or by machine?

1) Service intervals for an automatic transmission vary from every 30,000 miles ... to never. The typical service interval is 60,000 to 100,000 miles. Changing it more often does no harm

2)Changing automatic transmission fluid is best left to a mechanic equipped with a transmission flusher,which replaces the fluid more thoroughly than you could achieve with gravity alone.

Rang up Peu Service Ctr in Dubai(couple of weeks ago),....thy mention if there's no leaking thr b no need to change gearbox fluid...
