Hello,
New member here! 2004 Peugeot 307 5 door 1.4 petrol Envy special edition. Had this since new and no problems until recently. service & Cambelt done at Peugeot dealer last year. mileage 120k Has been running roughly, I was hoping it wasn't another coil pack that as it seemed to be missing a spark every now and then and fuel consumption, well it was pretty thirsty. Parked up over the weekend and this morning, tried to start and... nothing, it turns and turns, but seems to be no spark. I've tried everything I can think of, checked fuses, the petrol pump is ok as I can smell petrol in the engine bay, after I've been trying to start it. ![]() Any ideas that I can try at home?. breakdown cover doesn't cover me for being at home and I live at a bottom of a hill, otherwise, I would have pushed it down the road for a quarter of a mile! So, fuses, ok - Petrol, has 1/4 of a tank and seems to be pumping ok. please not another coil pack or BSI.... please no!. Any pointers or help greatly appreciated! Cheers, Keith Last edited by Jazzman; 01-09-2012 at 04:25 PM. |

You need a check for fault codes, either a code reader, preferably peugeot planet 2000 or diagbox. If you check peugeot planet maps on this forum for a member near you that could help, you would then need to ask another member to message him. Other wise its the substitution route which could prove costly. Has it been runnng poorly since the cambelt was changed? it could be a few teeth out on timing although it sounds electrical, confusion hence the diag check.
