Question strange loose wires behind window washer tank

Dear all,

Car-repairs' noob question: we removed window washer tank below the front-right bender (UK Peugeot 306, wheel on the right-hand-side), and found 3 loose wire cable connectors.

They all disappear in the wiring system scattered randomly around; has anyone traced them?

I have no ideas where they could lead to...

Many thanks for wiring this out

The one on the left I wouldn't worry about. Looks like it clips onto the body and isn't used. (for foglights or something?) Dunno about the other two. Had a look at my 306 and couldn't see them. What year, model and engine is it?

The car is running fine I take it? If it is I wouldn't worry! Nothing to do with the washer pump? Front and rear washers working ok? Officially out of ideas!

Have you a 16 pin Diagnostics if not , these could be diagnostic ports but thats just a guess as well,
on early pug vans they had 2pin connectors for the engine ecu

My guess would be that they just fit the same loom to each car, regardless of if it has the components these connect to

On my 306 i had 2 plugs on the...i think right hand side of engine bay/fusebox, that just plugged into blank ports, never found out what they would have related to!

I'd have a look to see if they have fell off similar blanking ports from somewhere!

they look like power connecters ie. live and neutral so they would be feeding 12v. Front Fog lights as mentioned. maybe heated winscreen connection aswell.

The cack build up would suggest that they have never been plugged in so i would hazard for optional extras as mentioned. I wouldnt worry about them

Blue is for fog lights, brown I believe is for the alarm system. If you have neither then that's why they are free.
