starting problem

Hello newbie here, well i have owned a peugeot 306 xsi 1999 model for just over a year, however over the past 6 months whenever i use it for 20 minutes minimum and then i go to use it again it refuses to start and i have to leave it for 20-30 minutes or sumtimes it just wont start, well ive had my spark plugs checked and theres nothing wrong with them, ive had a new battery fitted too....anyways im very confused as to wot to do next
