Hi everyone,
We have a 306 1.6 Auto GLX which has recently started making a squeeling noise when you put away. It's recently had all it's belts changed when the cam belt was done. Do you think it may be a dodgy belt or simply need a tighten? Either way, could someone point me in the right direction as I'm not the most experienced mechanic!?! ![]() Many thanks, Mark. |

Hi Greenman, sounds like it might need a tighten. Have you had a pull on the belt to check its tension? About half an inch or 13mm deflection on its longest run should be about right.
