Hi , had my 306 around 7 months never had a problem.
But it recently has developed a misfire idle-2000 revs as soon as it gets to 2000 revs its fine , no loss of power no nothing. I have disconnected the air flow meter and its made no difference. Also another quick question my 306 has power up until bang on 3000 revs then it just cuts right out. is that the way its suppost to be or ? The car has no starting problems at all and i cannot see any diesel leaks on the injectors, its had a new fuel filter as i thought this may sort the problem but it did not! Any help appriciated. thanks Dom |

All HDI's are prone to sticky injectors if filled regularly with poor quality fuel ,Get a bottle of REDEX diesel treatment and add 1/2 it to a full tank and drive the nuts off if for a few days. Should help. Use manufacturers recommended dose from then on.Otherwise injectors need to come out to be tested.
