Not having alot of luck please help.
I have had my car in pieces now for 2 days. Started off with me going to change the alternator and had to pri the belt off cause i dont know how to release the tension and it looks like the pulley for this has been messed with abit and my tools dont fit in the holes. After destroying the oil filter as it would not move so i could get the alternator out and putting a hole in the rad
 i decided to have a go at the tensioner(the one with gthe spring at the back). I have managed to remove the long bolt but im unsure about how to remove it. Do i need to undo the spring at the bottom or does it pop off? Thanks
