Hey mate, mine had the same problem. the blowers wouldnt go off so i just pulled the fuse out, broke the connection and then soldered a switch running from two wires from each side of the fuse. cut the switch into a little hole in the dash, works fine now and switches the aircon/blowers on and off. just make sure you use the correct wire rated for about 30 amps otherwise youre probably looking at an electrical fire seeing as there will always be current flowing through the wires and switch. Hopes this helps!
what year and version is your 306? mine is a 1.4 meridian. the fuse is number 21. |

sounds like the resistor pack in the blower unit. light wont go out as the blowers are still on. soon as it does stop the light should stop also.
