Flashing lights and doors wont lock

Just got a 306xsi the other day and when i try to lock the car it automaticly unlocks itself, the headlights also flash for about 20 seconds when i open the driver door. Any ideas what this problem is or how it could be fixed?

Check that all the doors and any rear hatch window are firmly closed. It sounds like the event I get on a 407SW if the rear window is not shut properly.

Wires broken in one of the rubber boots from door to chassis. Most likely drivers door.

Also, has this car a factory alarm?
