Smile first ever peugeot but no remote locking

Hi all first post here so sorry if in the wrong place i have just bought me a w reg pug 306 xsi 2.0 3 door but my key fobs dont have the button for the central locking
is this standard on this car and if not how do i go about getting one with it

They come originally with at least 1 remote. Buy one off ebay, swap 1 of the blades and get it programmed.

It worth noting that while a lot of them had central locking, not all of them had remote central locking

If your fob hasnt got the button for the locking then i would probably suggest you dont have it!

Correct, they will be the ultrasonic sensors for the alarm

so if it has them does it mean it should have an alarm or just there as standard
fitting on all models

You're probably better off getting an aftermarket alarm which controls the central locking. Common problem with the fob failing. Batteries will only last a short time. You might be lucky as its a W reg for a while but after time youll be changing batteries as many times as you change your pants.
