Default Engine number sequence

Hi I have taken the engine numbers off the engine on my 2000 1.4cc because they are missing from the V5c It says not known.

There appear to be three different sets

1 of 3 letters, 1 of 6 characters & 1 of 7 numbers.

Can anyone advise me of the correct sequence to fill these in on the V5c forrm.

Thanks
Neil
