clutch problem

right well to start off, i replaced the engine in my 306 turbo diesel to a 2.0 16v xsi motor, when i changed the engine over i replaced most parts along with the clutch, well ive now barly done 200-300 miles and i have a wierd sound coming from around the gearbox, it sounds like a heard of turkeys, the gearbox is now back off and i cant see anything thats out of place worn or broken in the gearbox or on the clutch, im absolutly baffled just wondering if anyone on here has had anything simular or has any advice, thanks mike
