Cigarette lighter & CD player

Hi guys, just got myself a '02 306 Hdi Meridion Estate with a few minor problems. First, the cigarette lighter works when held in but wont stay in as it should. I tried using the sat nav charger in it but it doesn't charge. I really need it for using the sat nav. Any ideas? Couldn't be a fuse as it wouldn't work at all I guess?
Second, the CD player works fine with the ignition on but engine off, then as soon as the engine is on it won't register the Cd, it just clicks and spits out the CD. The radion works fine in both instences.
Any ideas on where to start would be great.
