hi does anyone know i have a 308 petrol 1.6 sports, and it won't start from cold, and now the stop light is on ,saying engine to hot and fan coming on even though car has not been run and engine cold?

Sounds like Water Temp sensor giving fault readings be telling ecu car is hot and injecting system .

ON the thermostat (left side of cylinder head). Think its a green wire from memory. Connected directly to the ECU also if you have AC. Reason being is that if the gas pressure in the AC gets to high the ECu needs to be able to turn the fans on and determine water temp.

Should be under warranty though shouldnt it.
