306 Rear Wiper Will Not Stop

Hi,
I have a 306 rear wiper that keeps on going. Any ideas what might cause this? Only way to stop it is to pull the power off!

Broken switch permanently grounded. At a logical guess anyway. Check the wiper switch (this doesn't necessarily mean the button, someone more clued up on 306's should be able to tell you but it may well just be the button)
