Data: Peugeot 306 XL 1.4i from 1996. Won't start. The situation:
- The starter runs fine and the battery measures 12,5V. - The fuelpump runs when the ignition is turned on. - There is no spark ??? - There is no immobiliser on the car. We have tried the following without luck: - There is no signal from the computer to the ignition coil (measured on both signals to the dual coil with an oscilloscope). The signal is at 12V and goes to 0V (constant) when the car attempted started. But no pulses. Camshaft position sensor was changed and the cable between the sensor and the computer is measured. - The computer is switched to one of the vintage together, barcode, etc.. What can cause your computer not to provide ignition pulses (eg. other sensors)? Thanks in advance for your contributions. |
