My daughters 306 1.4 petrol has a few gremlins that need sorting so im after help/advice on where to start looking as we dont have a manual/wiring diagram for it.
This issue is with the central locking which is you can unlock all 4 doors from drivers lock BUT to lock all 4 doors you have to use the passenger side door lock (key). If you turn the key in the drivers door ONLY that door locks. Any ideas/opinions on this.

Yes a very common issue on the 306/xsara if u open the door and pull back the large rubber boot what goes from the pillar to the door you will find some broken wires. There are 2 ways to tackle the problem. Remove the door (just the 2 pins on the hinges what need unbolting and the 2 check strap bolts, disconnect the wiring connector then the door will lift off) You can then either try to solder in some new wire to the ones that are broken or go to a scrap yard and try to find a good door shut loom on another car and replace the whole lot.
