Hi, recently whilst driving, occasionally my girlfriends 306 speedo will just stop working and read at 0 for a minute of so, after this it goes back to normal.
Could this be a problem with the transducer?. |

This happened on my first car, it was a clio.
Also when I had a 306, my rev counter was dropping to zero for a bit, if I revved a little, it would go back up. If you have a haynes manual, or find out online how to do it, all you have to do is take the dials out and sort out the connections. the electrics are awful on 306's. My dash lights would turn off, and if I hit any part of the dashboard they came back on. my mechanic just took the whole unit with the dials out, and made the connections better as they were loose. I'm fairly sure that's all you need to do to yours. |
