1995 XRDT sucking air ?

just wondering if anyone can help .... i have 1995 xrdt and it seems to be sucking to much air. i have changed the air filter , checked what air pipes i can see and cant seem to find a fault however it is rather beefy when accelerating. I was wondering is it possible for it to sound like this if there is a fault with the intercooler??

To be honest its been doing my head in since the day i bought it and I cant seem to come up with any solutions

Any help is greatly appreciated
