Does anyone know for sure the wheel size options coming for the hybrid? We are looking to get one, but it keeps slipping back and we need new winter TYRES for our current 3008, but don't want to get the wrong size for the hybrid
New to this forum but pretty excited about the hybrid..... |

I can't see why they would be any different to the normal 3008, I would have thought its only the engine they are changing, nothing else.... could be proved wrong, but I can't see a logical reason why though.

I suspect they're 17's, but the pictures bandied about so far show the Hybrid 4 with different styled alloys to the existing range, so it's hard to be 100%.
BTW, as it stands, Peugeot recommend winter tyres not be fitted to the standard 17's, only to 16"s on the 3008. If you pay out for the multi-surface-traction-control-doobrey then 16" pug alloys with cold weather tyres are an option from the factory.

I can confirm they are indeed 225/50 17's, albeit on brand new rims.
I got to climb all over the one in Peugeots meeting room at Pinley House on Sunday. Good points - all sorts of little details really enhance the look. Different tailgate and more pronounced spoiler, all the external black plastic is painted a glossy metallic black, different grille, even the paint on the alloys looks thicker and deeper. The whole package looks really smart. Tasty. Bad points - you lose the rear half (as you face it) of the under-the-shelf boot section, thus totally negating one of the 3008's main selling points, you don't get a spare wheel, and at £26.5 to £30K you gotta be really deperate to save a few quid on diesel! Interestingly, there's a plug in hybrid version on the way for the 2014 model year and the bog nobs were claiming it'd be sub 50 carbons, and North of 160 MPG. Intriguing.
