Default wobbly / Rocky ride

Hi, I just bought a 2010 peugeot 3008 Auto 2.0 sport Diesel. I love it, but the wife and kids say the ride is quite jerky, wobbly compared to my old 2001 206!! I didn't notice at first, maybe because I'm holding the steering wheel. Is this a common observation? Is the ride a bit jerky for everyone or is there something wrong with my car?? Thanks. Ben

What they may be experiencing, as with all cars like this, is that the 3008 is quite considerably taller than a 206. So your passengers will be subject to greater lateral (side-to-side) movement when going over bumps and undulations than they would normally be subjected to in a car that was of 'normal' height because they will be that that much higher up from the road surface. Not much that you can do about that, I'm afraid. Laws of physics and all that.

I don't think that the ride in our 1.6 hdi sport is any worse than any other car of its type, and it doesn't have the 'Dynamic Roll Control' that yours has. Is that working properly? Tyre pressures OK, etc?
