I have a 163 on order - but can't find out any solid info on manufacture and delivery. Anyone any clues?
Dealer is in dark. When I have bought new cars from other makers they always seem to know what's going on. Have peugeot factory even managed to do build schedule I wonder (they obviously use pencil-&-paper, rather than computers). |

They obviously use computers in this day and age. The model has not yet even been officially launched, so it's not surprising you don't have a build date. If you want to know more, ask Pug.
The diesel hybrid has been tentatively announced for October, in time for the 2011 model year, and around then would be a reasonable guess for the straight 2 litre diesel as well.

No, the 163 Auto was 'officially launched'. (it was originally in the brochures as March, subsequentally changed to April avail).
I ordered one at the start of Feb. Eventually, after pestering and moaning, I learnt 10 days ago that it was being built this week. Now it has just to go on a slow camel from Sochaux to Calais to xxx |
