Default Parking Sensors

Has anyone had issues with these sensors (front and back) being a bit random and beeping just whenever it suits them??

Also on a side, does anyone find the rear doors sound a bit tinny when they are shut?

i've heard that sometimes they would detect rear tailgate when not installed properly or something like that. are yours factory or aftermarket? obviously if its factory installed, then it should be a non-issue.

Default Peugeot 3008 problems front parking sensor

Hi

stewrogers

I have had the same spasmodic intermittant beeping whilst driving within the 20 second time out period on numerous occations.

Problems occurred couple weeks after delivery of my 3008, action taken by replacing front sensors, PDC ECU, wiring harness, two complete installs and finally again all front sensors. Could be faulty batch they said.
This was an aftermarket install.

Rear doors sound fine.

Default Sensors with a mins of their own

Hi there, yes I have an ongoing problem with the sensors. I am interested in the comments about the faulty sensor batch. When was your vehicle first registered?

Mine are totally crazy especially in the rain and recently in the snow! They also bleep for no reason and at detecting vehicles/obstacles in front at random distances, there seems to be no regular pattern to how far something seems to be in front before it bleeps!

As for the rear door, no problems with it at all and it sounds solid!

Thanks for the info, I think mine is in that batch too! May make it easier to sort out with the garage.
