Picked up my 3008 exclusive registered October 2010 and I was expecting it to come with the electric folding mirrors but it didnt, either that or they dont work!
According to the option list from Peugeot the Exclusive has the "Retrovision pack" as standard (£160) which includes the electric mirrors, electrochrome interior mirror (whatever that is!) and exterior courtesy light. Anybody enlighten me?! by the way first immpression of the car , Superb! just got my fingers crossed regarding the reliability and build quility of Peugeot |

if the switches are as i think they may be, the switch used to select the mirror to move around, instead of moving left/right should also be able to move down, when you pull it down the mirrors will move in etc. my 02 307 is the same as my dads 60 plate RCZ

p.s an electrochrome interior mirror is quite handy, if there is a driver behind you who wont switch off his full beams, the mirror will automatically tint, saving you the hastle of folks like me flicking the mirror tilt tab..

My 3008 exclusive registered March 2011 has the folding mirrors ie fold in when car is locked with the key fob, but I am fairly sure it can be canceled from the settings.
Like you I think it is a SUPERB car. |

I ordered my Exclusive in April 2010, and specified the Retrovision pack as an option.
I know the folding mirrors are now standard, but I don't know when the spec changed, and if it includes the 'whole pack'. It may be that at the time yours was ordered it wasn't standard. Simple to tell - if you have a little tab on your rear view mirror to manually change the angle and reduce headlight glare, then you don't have an electochrome mirror and therefore probably don't have electric mirrors either. Even more simple - if you don't have a mirror control switch in front of your electric window switches - then you don't have electric mirrors! The exterior courtesy lights are lights underneath the door mirrors that shine down and come on when you unlock. |

Thanks for the replies
Bit annoyed I haven't got the folding mirrors but apart from that, couldn't be more happier about the car, superb ride and MPG, a true luxury feel to the cabin, managed to get a diesel Exclusive with the leather and sat nav options, I've had many "luxury" motors in my time and this 3008 is up there with the best of them, my only concern is how long that will last! |

Got the 1.6 HDI diesel
The 2.0 was an option but my insurance shot up with the 2 litre, would of been nice to have the extra power and torque but I have no plans to use the car for towing and I get my speed kicks from my motorbike! so the 1.6 will do me fine |

Just had to swap my 2011 1.6 hdi sport manual for a 2011 exclusive 1.6 e-hdi EGC (worsening disability).
The exclusive has the folding mirrors as standard. At least it does on a new one. Didn't even consider 2.0 hdi auto for this kind of car. 1.6 hdi has more than enough torque and power for the speeds that it's likely to be driven at. Test drive went well! EGC isn't as bad as everyone makes out. But there is a certain 'technique' to making all the gear changes smooth. Loved it in manual mode! Auto stop-start is hardly noticeable. Looks the 'biz' in black. |
