Hi, I'm new to the forum, own a 59-plate 3008 Exclusive with the RNEG satnav system.
I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade to an audio with DAB radio and iPod connectivity, whilst retaining the satnav/bluetooth functionality which is all controlled from the existing head unit. Any help please? |

You should have the Auxilary connection box under the front arm rest (under the lid)
All you need is a auxilary cable (only a couple of quid) to connect your ipod/iphone to your car audio. I use it for my Iphone, sounds awesome ! only way to get the DAB radio is to buy something like a Highway unit which picks up a dab signal and transmits it through the car audio, I've tried one, a bit hit and miss really, to be honest I wouldnt bother. If you have a iphone or any other smartphone you can receive any internet radio station in the world and play that through the car speakers, I'm no expert i think its the same quality as DAB Last edited by SusexMariner; 11-26-2011 at 05:03 PM. |

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of the aux input, just looking for full iPod connectivity. As for the DAB, my phone is far from smart, so looks like I'll have to stick with what's there.
