Hi all, I have a new 3008 Envy 1.6 petrol (120) and the fan continues to run for about 45 seconds after the engine is turned off. My dealer is a bit vague as to whether this is a problem or not. Anyone else got the same "problem"?
Cheers. |

Is your Fan on all the time you are driving?

This sometimes happens in the hot weather cos of the heat from the cat. Shouldn't do it every time though.

As far as I know the fan is running normally and the temp gauge is ok, but it runs on every time.

My fan runs on for exactly 4 seconds then cuts off. Only when the air con is switched on though. I have noticed the fan kicks in after a motorway dash and the engine is very hot but I wondered if that was anything to do with the burning off of the soot being a diesel. When that happens it runs for about 15 seconds then goes off
