Default 3008 Audio Option Advice Needed

I had a test drive in a 3008 yesterday and am going to order a new one soon. I'm a bit confused by the audio option.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the JBL Hi-Fi and the Connect 3-D Navigation (NG4) as I'm not sure which one to go for.

Thanks

Andy

JBL Hi-Fi is just a speaker upgrade from the standard speaker set up in your 3008 I believe, better sound, less distortion etc etc The NG4 is the top of the range Sat Nav system available for the 3008

It's not a "either or" option. if you want the best audio get the JBL upgrade and if you want the best Sat Nav the NG4 is for you!

Thanks for the explanation, I assumed I had to choose one or the other, might as well have them both then!!

You're paying between £21,000 and nearly £30,000 if you're considering a 3008 with this option - considering the wedge you're about the part with I'd have hoped the salesman would be chomping at the bit to answer this for you.

To be fair to him, I didn't ask at the time. I just wanted to be clear for when we go back to order a 3008.

It was one of the options mentioned in the brochure he gave us to take away and look at.

It sure is a nice car though.

The JBL option is more than just better speakers, its a more powerful amp and a subwoofer in the back. I believe for this you lose the spare wheel and get some kind of tyre repair aerosol instead.

I ordered it when I ordered my Exclusive, only to be told later it wasn't available because of a technical problem. Assume they have it sorted now.

I ordered the HID directional headlights instead - they're great.

Does anyone know of a link to either of the systems so I can find out more about them?

Thanks again

Andy
