Hi. I am about to test drive this car. A couple of things are bugging me though.
There is a reasonable amount of white sludge under the oil cap. How do I tell the difference between a gasket head problem and the car not doing much mileage in recent cold weather? Is it likely to be a problem in a car of this age? Also, the steering column has a rather loose soft covering where I looked at an 09 sport model today and it has a hard covering. Does anyone know if this soft covering normal in the GT? Thanks. |

Nice cars, but can carry several significant problems. Get it pro inspected by the AA or RAC. You'd be crazy fool not to!
