Default Trip computer frozen.

The trip computer seems to have frozen on my 207 cc 07. I've only had the car for three weeks and have yet to receive a manual from the garage that sold it to me. Is there a reset button anywhere or is it a case of pulling out a fuse and putting in back in. The computer currently indicates that I have 6,200 mile before I have to refill. If that is indeed the case then Peugeot should get an award for outstanding fuel efficiency.

i suppose you could just pull the +ive on the battery so no power is getting through...leave drivers window down just incase u lock keys in etc. that would do the same job as disconnecting the screen.

Remove keys from the ignition. Close door, wait five minutes, then disconnect the battery. Leave disconnected for ten minutes. Reconnect battery, wait five minutes. Turn your ignition on, check your display and reset your radio stations and time clock.
If not correct come back to me with last eight numbers of chassis and i'll check for info on the problem.

Mine was also frozen at 6200 miles, but it reset by holding the button in. I think it took longer than 2 seconds though. Cheers for the tip
