Default Suspension steering question

Just bought a 207 HDi GT 2006, 40000 miles and full history, HPI clear and pretty much mint condition.
But, when I'm crawling with a hard lock on the car tramps a bit sideways.
Also, when hitting potholes on the road the whole car seems to jump, what appears to be sideways!!
Tracking out? Mix matched cheap tyres or something more sinister??
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

Shocks may be worn if its jumping about over potholes. Bad tyres would also impair the ride.

Thanks, that crossed my mind.
Think i'm going to pop to the tyre garage tomorrow and get tracking, shocks and drop links/bushes checked.
Tyres are all good but budgets on NSF and OSR and Pirellis on the other opposite corners.. Feel a bit of rotating coming on...

Get tracking done as this happened to me also especially on full lock. Got tracking checked and it was way out

Those tyres should work better with matching ones on each axle.

Fingers crossed it's just the tracking.
And the Pirrellis are going on the front.. Can't believe that a garage mixed budget and performance tyres on opposite corners!!!

Full suspension and steering check. No worn parts.
Tracking was 2.2degrees out and had a couple of new tyres.
Different car :-) Happy days and thanks all for your advice
